Chief Ilesanmi Francis Olaniyi. A young and vibrant entrepreneur cum politician who is making waves in both business and political circles particularly in Osun State.
The Ipetu-Ijesha born philanthropist has been at the forefront of youths emancipation and advancement, his scholarship scheme has seen many indigent students going to school without fuss and his heart of giving to the needy is incomparable! It was on the strength of this that the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) bestowed a mentorship award on this soft spoken, deftly calculative vibrant oil magnate. The event which held at the OGD hall of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ago Iwoye, Ogun State on Wednesday, 22nd of October, 2025 saw Amb. Chief Ilesanmi Francis Olaniyi also known as “Ijoba Federal” gave a superlative lecture at the event tagged “Students Mentorship Summit” organized by the Public Relations department of NANS, spearheaded by its National PRO Mr. Samson Adeyemi with the National President of NANS Mr. Olushola Ladoja in attendance.
The Theme for the lecture was “EVERY ROLE, EVERY VOICE: ADVANCING NIGERIA THROUGH INNOVATION, CITIZENSHIP, AND COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY.” To boost the morale of the national body of students (who filled the hall to full capacity), Amb. Ilesanmi gave a generous donation of N2m (Two million Naira Only) for the advancement of education in Nigeria. In his lecture, he accentuated the fact that “Every role matters whether you are a student, teacher, entrepreneur, engineer or activist. Every voice counts – whether you are leading from the front or serving quietly behind the scenes, together, we form the chorus that determines the rhythm of national progress.”
He delivered his lecture with poise in his characteristic calm and dignified mien to the audience who listened with rapt attention. In conclusion, he admonished the students to “Let this summit ignite in you the courage to think big, act right and serve selflessly!” Among those who were given awards along with “Ijoba Federal” were Ogun State governor Mr. Dapo Abiodun, Osun State governor Senator Ademola Adeleke among many others from across the country.
