It was a
double celebration for the teeming supporters of Ambassador Chief Ilesanmi
Francis Olaniyi (IFO) on Friday, 26th of September, 2025 as he threw
a party to felicitate with the Arole Oodua, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan
Adeyeye Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja ll who was celebrating the primordial festival
of Olojo in Ile-Ife.
Chief Ilesanmi, an oil magnate, who is aspiring to represent Osun East Senatorial District at the upper chambers of the National Assembly, the Senate, was full of praises for the Ooni who he called an “epitome of fatherhood and a role model for this generation.” Chief Ilesanmi who is fondly called “Ijoba Federal” in political circles also had a familiarization and a get-together interface with his would be constituents of Ife federal constituency.
It was a time for merriment and entertainment as he mingled and danced with them; promising to be a good ambassador to his people. Speaking to journalists at the event, Chief Ilesanmi (a.k.a Ijoba Federal) talked about his priorities on getting to the hallowed chambers of the Senate saying “My mission is to create a future assured for our people, especially the youths. I have many aces up my sleeve with which I want to change the narrative of poverty among our people and make a difference in their lives.”
The Ipetu-Ijesha born business mogul cum politician gave the assurances that his journey to the red chambers is a divine call for emancipation of his people promising to give it all it takes until victory is achieved. At the event were political juggernauts from APC who came from Ijesha South/Ijesha North Federal constituencies and Ife Federal constituency.
